Employment Solicitor
About the role:The firm that I am working with is a well established medium to large scale firm based here in Dublin City Centre. They are currently looking to expand their employment team and looking for a skilled and experienced employment solicitor to join this team. This firm spread across a number of areas and acts on behalf of a number of National, International, public and private sector clients. The employment team that this successful candidate would be joining would advise on all areas of employment law including: grievance and disciplinary issues; TUPE issues and WRC claims. Our employment team works closely with other specialist units within the firm to offer coordinated legal advice on areas such as tax, corporate, data privacy and a range of regulatory areas.
Background and experience:Solicitors with 3-5 years of employment law advisory and contentious experience in a leading Irish or international corporate law firm are encouraged to apply.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to draft and review employment contracts, policies and procedures and contracts for services.
- Excellent communication skills and positive engagement with clients and colleagues
- A practical and commercial understanding of clients’ needs
- Excellent technical and drafting skills coupled with a good eye for detail
- A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met
- An ability to work as part of a team and show a high level of initiative
- A strong work ethic and flexible approach to work
