Finance Business Partner The Company Our client is a leading professional services firm who are currently looking for a Finance Business Partner.
This is an exciting role for someone who is an ambitious, experienced accountant with drive, determination and the ambition to work within an established organisation.
The Role - Prepare monthly management reports with analysis and action recommendations.
- Develop and challenge annual and semi-annual financial plans and forecasts.
- Enhance operational reporting to better reflect financial performance.
- Present financial information at departmental and practice group meetings.
- Generate weekly operational reports on utilization, billings, collections, and WIP & AR.
- Monitor WIP and debtor lock-up, addressing performance issues with partners.
- Improve commercial procedures to boost financial performance.
- Build relationships within Business and Practice Groups for proactive support.
- Provide financial training focusing on project economics and financial hygiene.
- Support month-end billing through coaching and troubleshooting.
- Address operational issues to improve efficiency and cost savings.
- Prepare annual business cases for Practice Group promotions.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
About You - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
- Proven organisational, administration and analytical competencies
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong excel skills (Power BI, Tableau)
- High attention to detail
