Financial Accountant
The Company
A well known company with headquarters in Galway operating in the retail sector. Due to continued growth and a number acquisitions across Europe my client is looking to add to its finance team
The Role
My client is looking for a technically strong accountant to join their finance team. This a very interesting role which offers excellent learning opportunities and career progression. This person will need to have strong intercompany system experience and have a 'can do' attitude. Your overall responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Preparation of monthly and yearly management packs
- Heavily involved in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis across the function
- P&L and Balance Sheet statutory reporting
- Cash management and bank reconciliation
- Stock and Margin analysis
- Management of junior staff members
- Heavily involved in a number of projects across the business
About You
You will need to be a technically strong accountant with the ability to juggle a number of projects at once. You will need to:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA)
- Have 2-3 years PQE in practice or industry
- Be a team player with a willingness to help out where and when required
- Technically strong with strong analytical and data analysis skills
- Experience in SAP would be beneficial but not essential
- Good communicator with the confidence to communicate to all levels of the business
What is on offer?
My clients is offering annual salary of approx: €65,000 to €70,000
