Loan Officer
Our client, a leading financial services firm based in Dublin City, are looking to add a Loan Officer to their growing team.The ideal candidate will have previous customer facing experience within a Banking/Credit Union institution and have relevant experience in Loan underwriting.This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to take the next step in their career within financial services.Duties and Responsibilities: - Completing the end-to-end lending process across the range of products, including, home improvement and personal lending.
- Conducting loan interviews with customers and obtaining the necessary underwriting information.
- Completing detailed analysis and assessment in underwriting each type of loan application.
- Operating within the lending discretion framework.
- Maintaining lending records to a high audit standard in line with organisational policies and procedures.
Requirements: - Minimum APA'd in Loans, progressing towards QFA qualification.
- 1-2 years of financial services experience.
- Experience in mortgages or SME lending is desirable.
- Strong lending analytical ability and proven judgment.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and people management skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience using MS Office Suite.
