Mortgage Advisor
Our client, a leading financial services with operations nationwide, are looking to add a Mortgage Advisor to their growing team.The ideal candidate will have worked in mortgages for 2-3 years and be comfortable meeting clients on a face-to-face basis.This is an exciting opportunity for those with previous experience working in a Bank/Credit Union who are looking to progress their careers in the world of mortgages.Responsibilities: - Meet with customers to understand their financial situation, goals, and preferences.
- Assess their eligibility for a mortgage by analysing the customers financial situation.
- Provide expert advice based on their needs.
- Facilitate funds drawdown once contracts have closed.
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support throughout the mortgage journey.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Consumer Protection Code and Central Bank guidelines).
Qualifications and Skills: - QFA (Qualified Financial Advisor) designation is ideal, however APA’d in Loans
- is the minimum qualification for this role.
- Experience in providing mortgage advice and dealing with mortgage customers
- face-to-face and/or processing applications is preferable but not essential.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for mortgage calculations.
