Mortgage Advisor
Our client, a leading broker based in Cork City, are looking to add an enthusiastic and driven Mortgage Advisor to their growing team!
As a Mortgage Planner, you will be responsible for assisting clients through the whole process of their mortgage journey from initial application all the way to drawdown, assessing their financial circumstances, providing expert advice and guiding them through the mortgage process.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from home on a hybrid basis.
The Role: - Review income, PRA and balance of funds
- Once the candidate has established a max mortgage amount, they will send to the Admin Team for mortgage comparisons
- Send comparisons to client and agree a which lender to chose
- Request any additional information
- Write lender proposal
- Give to Admin Team to submit on appropriate lender system
- Deal with any lender queries
- Manage to drawdown with Admin Team assistance
Requirements: - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the mortgage sector.
- Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) desireable, APA in Loans as a minimum qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documentation for mortgage applications.
- Proficient in using CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.
